Yes, it is. The Democratic Party is the party of globalization and social welfare. That’s what all the Dem economists talk about the need to address offshoring with a stronger social safety net.
Progressives often cry out ‘Pelosi is acting like a Republican’ or something. This just shows how captured they really are. No, she’s acting like a Democrat. You’re the outlier. It’s not your party.
Here @perrybaconjr is 100% correct. The Democratic Party coalition is run by #NeverTrumpers, who basically never really disagrees with Dem elites on much except the worth of being on the Bush family Christmas card list. fivethirtyeight.com/features/how-n…
Democrats see politics as a ceremonial practice with no relationship to government. It’s why they ignore, say, RBG’s long history of corporatist decisions and selfish behavior and do planks to celebrate her birthday and wail whenever she gets sick.
The left is just as deluded as anyone else. Andrew Yang is taken seriously even though his central point - that robots produce too much not that we offshore too much - is so obviously wrong and has been proven wrong as we beg for PPE from China.
Bernie gave a pathologically dishonest speech in favor of a giant coronavirus corporate coup and his supporters - who did not care to understand what was happening - were just overjoyed. Total dumpster fire.
In the mid 2000s lots of Dems wanted their own Fox News because they wanted to beat Bush. They got it in MSNBC. And now, like the mid-2000s GOP, Democrats are run by the Bush family.

Wasn’t HAMILTON amazing? I got matinee tickets before the pandemic.
