The Panel of Experts also report, again, that neighbouring states have consistently failed to adhere to the revitalized peace agreement and the Security Council’s sanctions regime, including the arms embargo. #SouthSudan
This month the UN Security Council will decide on a possible extension of the sanctions regime. Lifting the arms embargo during a time of increased violence sends the wrong signal to the leaders in #SouthSudan. Now is the time to increase pressure & enforce compliance! #R2P
