The Justice Department says the FBI's January 2017 interview of Flynn was “untethered to, and unjustified by, the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into Mr. Flynn” and “conducted without any legitimate investigative basis.” apne.ws/jinW6S5
Prosecutors had maintained that Michael Flynn lied to the FBI about his conversations with the Russian ambassador in a January 2017 interview. Flynn, Trump’s first national security adviser, admitted as much, and became a key cooperator for Mueller. apne.ws/1ylRAs6

An AP-NORC poll finds that Americans’ support for mail-in voting has jumped amid concerns about the safety of polling places during the pandemic. But President Trump’s comments against voting by mail may be resonating with his Republican backers. apne.ws/MOelQBG
The poll finds that 39% of Americans favor conducting all-mail elections, up from 19% in 2018. Another 40% are opposed. But even more, 48%, favor voting only by mail if the coronavirus outbreak is ongoing in November. apne.ws/d28Xn59
The poll also shows 60% of Americans support allowing people to vote via absentee ballot without requiring them to give a reason if the outbreak is still happening. That includes 73% percent of Democrats and 46% of Republicans. apne.ws/RPJQ52Q

@AP Neither the federal government nor the leader in nursing home deaths, New York, has mandated testing. An industry group says only about a third of the nation's 15,000 nursing homes have ready access to tests.
Nursing homes are pleading for the coronavirus tests. Those that do manage to get a hold of them often rely on luck and contacts.
