.@PRWeekUS published a profile of Harold Burson in 2014. He mentioned the work they did for the junta and called it a "big mistake" but added that they had asked the State Department who told them:

"if you can help them build a democracy no problem."

But then Burson says "it wasn’t political" - which was a lie. They declared that they were performing political activities on their FARA forms. And now we know exactly what they were doing: cjr.org/analysis/willi…
