Suppose a thief broke into the homes of your neighbors. Then suppose you see him lurking in your neighborhood scoping out his next target. You and your son run after him to conduct a citizen's arrest ( legal in your state )

Part 1

Your son goes ahead of you and as you come behind him, you see your son and the thief fighting and the thief is trying to take his weapon. Would you just stay there and do nothing and wait for the cops to come or protect your son?

Part 2

My point is that we don't have all the facts yet. But everyone has already labeled those 2 men " White Supremacists " or " Evil Vigilantes "

I have a feeling that as more facts come in, alot of those who rushed to judgment will have egg on their face
