Wsj reports that the Trump Administration is in talks with #Intel and #TSMC to open semi-conductor chip foundries in USA instead of relying on Asian factories.

Will this start a wave of semi-conductor....(1/2)

Cost is the major factor that will determine the success. But remember #Samsung already has a manufacturing plant in Texas.

So it is possible to manufacture chips in USA.

Initially at least a section of customers like Govt and military will benefit.
