And not a single article I've read in this JAMA viewpoint series has bothered to reference HOW WE KNOW PEOPLE ACT with immunity certificates because HISTORY.

I'm also just gonna say it outloud, since so many people are saying it with me privately:

It takes a REAL white dude level of privilege to say that "well, minorities are getting COVID19 more, so they'd benefit the most from immunity certificates" with a straight face.
I don't disagree with every #COVID19 immunity cert article. For example, I think @alexandraphelan is right: immunity passports are impractical given gaps in our scientific knowledge & our technical limitations & pose considerable equitable & legal concerns thelancet.com/journals/lance…
And I am pretty sure I tweeted out my agreement of @FrancoiseBaylis and @nataliekofler's article (because I had to look up Natalie's twitter account), which emphasizes the disparity we all ought to know will happen with COVID19 immunity certs. issues.org/covid-19-immun…
