show up in a recruiter's search! Because most #sourcers and #recruiters will look at current 'title' (You used to have it listed as current title, but now it's just title) SO...they now move to like page 16 of someone' search...
SO, an active job-seeker brought this to my attention and said "I've been telling all my friends to keep their current position as to present BUT it feels unethical, but we need to appear in searches!"

Lastly, @LinkedInHelp I gave a candidate this heads-up and as soon as she put her current position back to 'present' vs. with the end-date, she got a pop-up from LinkedIn saying "Wow, you're now 27 times more likely to be found!" So, this is a disadvantage for those out-of-work
