I hope everyone saw the signals from the California special election yesterday: the data suggest that in an all-mail-in election in November, young people will continue to have *no interest* in the future of their country and be a non-factor, perhaps ensuring Trump's re-election.

(To be clear, I've spent years *not* being angry at young voters for their consistently disappointing showings come election-time, always being the one who says that they'll come out *this* time or *this* time or *this* time. They never do, and I admit it—*now* I'm really angry.)
