Global N₂O emissions are dominated by direct & indirect emissions from managed soils.

Deposition from non-ag sources of NOₓ & NH₃ are also important.

There is quite some variation in N₂O emission estimates, which is not uncommon when agricultural sources dominate.

EDGAR estimates get lower with new versions, but this is primarily due to not including biomass burning in the more recent versions.
