That is a shortfall of 625,379 v “tests”.
How long a delay to get results?

3,446 +ves (233,151 total). 1+ve for every 20.79 people tested

428 deaths following a +ve test in an Pillar 1- NHS/PH lab. (33,614 total) 14.41% fatality.
Deaths following a +ve Pillar 2 test (commercial/research labs) are not counted.

These include a lot of care home testing as well as front line staff and essential workers & symptomatic over 65 year olds.
Age/sex/ethnicity/occupation

Are their deaths of lesser importance?
Is this one of the reasons that the UK Stats Authority has written to Hancock about the unsatisfactory nature of the test stats reporting?

With infectious disease test has to be super quick and results notified pronto to be useful to GPs & Local PH too.

I attach @jneill charts and also the photo of the breakdown of the Pillar 1 and pillar 2 “tests” claimed today.

The gap between this number and people tested seems to be growing wider daily. How many were posted tests with no return label or remaining uncollected?
