Hard to explain how little I think of you if you support this guy.
I mean, my wife is a nurse so it’s personal, but if you watch even one second of this guy and afterwards want to give him even the slightest benefit of the doubt on any subject honestly go fuck yourselves.
There are moments of moral absolutes that aren’t ambiguous and if you fail them then there you are, and everyone knows.

Including you.
If there is a Republican in your life and your relationship with them can survive unscathed knowing what you now know about what they’ll cheer for or look the other way on I don’t know, I really don’t know. How could it? Why would you want it to?

Keep passing bills. Publish the list of bills. Give them easy to remember names. Hold daily press conferences to read the ones being blocked. Make them famous and popular. Never stop pointing out who is blocking them.

And, impeach.
Relentless is the word.

Relentlessly pursue real solutions to our many problems, and do it in a way that makes the Republican party own both the consequences of the problems they've created, and their clear willingness to keep those problems in place.
Continue wishing for a party that you can work with in a mutual give-and-take. Fine. Stop pretending Republicans will ever be that. Stop pretending they care about tradition or will be held to rules or precedent or ever be shamed by proof of their hypocrisy.

Fight relentlessly.

I criticized this last night for the president's typical casual disregard for the dead—which is present in his remarks—but this is a far darker thing.

He's making the point: you probably won't be affected, so you shouldn't care so much.

He's making a case for unchecked spread.
The points he’s making are:

1) most people aren’t even affected
2) most affected don’t die

He’s saying “look, it’s a percentage game, and you’ll probably beat it.”

You see?

If unchecked, the projection is several million dead.

Trump’s saying “yeah but it’s a big country.”
Not merely unconcern for those who have died; rather deliberate unconcern for those who will die if we simply decide we're going to let them die rather than doing the work and paying the cost.

Not just a case for acceptable loss, but a case to make any amount of loss acceptable.
