What changed?

President Trump's travel restrictions were extremely important in stopping the spread of the Coronavirus.

The WHO was wrong on that, why would we ever trust them again?

Americans won’t do construction work?!

Also, Americans don’t seek some of these jobs because the wages are obscenely low.

Cut off the supply of cheap foreign labor, wages will rise, and Americans will do those jobs again.
Plenty of Americans are willing to work hard jobs. They’re just understandably skeptical of the de facto Spanish language requirements.
Also, a lot of these businesses with jobs "Americans won't do" hire illegal immigrants.

A mandatory E-Verify & more deportations would do wonders clearing that up for American workers.
