This anonymous account was created—most likely overseas—a few weeks ago. Then Donald Trump retweeted it a week ago. Now it has over 50,000 followers and is attacking me—doing so right after I've said I'll be making an announcement tomorrow relating to Trump. Probably coincidence.
PS/ I don't have a habit of being coy and I don't mean to be coy here. Bot activity targeted at me has skyrocketed lately, as have threats, as has bot activity in which third parties are engaged and encouraged not to pay attention to me. And the fact of the matter is, I know why.
PS2/ I refuse to change my plans or my schedule because of conveniently timed attacks from anyone—whether it's Mike Flynn's brother several days ago, Flynn "acquaintance" Svetlana Lokhova a couple days ago, or trollbot threats today. I'll make my announcement tomorrow as planned.
PS3/ I'm mindful, as well, that what I do remains of interest to some folks in the White House. I won't soon forget White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders identifying me, in March 2019, as one of America's 32 most noteworthy "angry and hysterical Donald Trump haters."
PS4/ I'm not hysterical, but I'm certainly angry. And as I've consistently said here and on CNN and the BBC and HBO and everywhere else I've appeared, I'm angry *because* I did thousands of hours of open-records research on Trump's foreign entanglements, not the other way around.
The anonymous account Trump signal-boosted this week is getting real creepy in advance of my announcement tomorrow: "Abramson needs to be held accountable for the damage, misery and division he's caused to innocent people...he's a full-on propagandist for the Obama/Clinton coup."
The account seems to be obsessed with *Flynn* in particular. Flynn himself has blocked me on Twitter—but his brother recently attacked me online, and now Flynn's Russian-British acquaintance is attacking me. This Trump-boosted account immediately went all in on the latter attack.
There seems to be some anxiety—in advance of my announcement tomorrow—that I've written something damaging to Trump. The fear is grave enough that this Flynn cabal (boosted by Trump) is accusing me of wild things that make no sense. Like, say, an "Obama/Clinton coup." Uh...what?
Flynn's acquaintance Lokhova is accusing me of saying things I didn't say, then—creepily—posting proof I didn't say them...as proof that I *did*. Meanwhile, it's well known I voted for Clinton over Trump but supported Sanders in the 2016 primary... now I'm part of a Clinton coup?
I wouldn't be so focused on this except that, as I mentioned, weeks ago the trollbot activity—*and* human troll activity—directed at me increased ~500%. It was sudden. Now I realize it coincided with the big push to "free" Flynn. Which makes me think it's about my books on Trump.
I'm sure I'm *not* the only person who at times seriously wonders whether—when Trump mysteriously decides to signal-boost a "random" anonymous Twitter account that was just created—it's *actually* random or a decision being made by the Trump campaign or other pro-Trump entities.
This concern is heightened when—as I said—I've previously been singled out by the White House Press Secretary as one of a small group of people the White House considers key critics of the president. And since I know what's coming tomorrow, my concern is heightened still further.
COLLUSION, by British journalist Luke Harding, is a great book. Its only flaw is that it was published so early in the Trump-Russia scandal.

Mind you, this is almost entirely owing to the *method* behind the books I write—and their structure. Instead of telling a story like a novelist—with many pages wasted on scene-setting and made-up dialogue and meaningless background information—my books are straight-up *reports*.
My working theory is that the Trump administration and its allies believe that they've come to an end of the period of time when the public will see unredacted reports about what Donald Trump did. They believe that Barr has closed that chapter in the Trump presidency.

One thing @realDonaldTrump and his team don't want to see is a *mind-bogglingly obsessive researcher* who produces *tomes*—with thousands of major-media citations—summarizing *exactly* what the president did, and where, and with whom, and to what illegal and unpatriotic purposes.
In any event, the good news for those reading this who are patriots—and the bad news for foreign trollbots being amplified by Trump for nefarious purposes—is that it's too late to do anything about what I'll be announcing tomorrow. And it *will* bother the Trump White House. /end
