1/ What Trump and his mouthpieces—Giuliani, Solomon, and others—are doing is taking *what we already know* and packaging it (with *heavy* editing) as something new. *No*. The *whole West* told Ukraine that continued support was dependent on Poroshenko firing a corrupt prosecutor.
2/ Moreover—again, I say all this fresh off writing a *book* on this with thousands of citations enumerated in-text—Shokin was *not* investigating Burisma when he was fired *and* the time-period Burisma was *ever* under investigation for *wasn't* one during Hunter Biden's tenure.
3/ Put more simply, we are *multiple* universes away from the sad disinformation Trump's team is about to put out meaning anything about anything. It's information we already had—which was innocuous then and now—that is now going to be framed via empty rhetoric as something else.
4/ Trump's digital psy-ops dovetail nicely with his particular form of long con. Trump 1) commits his crimes in public, then 2) takes private audiotape of his enemies *not doing anything wrong* and assumes his fans are so stupid they'll believe anything *framed* this way is bad.
