I am just amazed at how many angry white people on twitter who never went to law school or even bothered to crack a hornbook are now sudden experts on the law of self-defense, particularly when it comes to forming a posse to hunt down suspected negroes in the neighborhood.
and i'm sorry for going there but let's not kid ourselves: it's basically ignorant white people who know nothing about crimlaw and think you're allow to pull a gun on anyone at any time for any reason and that the way things are handled in TOMBSTONE is IRL law who argue this crap

n.b. it's comical how defenders fail to understand how citizens arrests actually work, legally. you either haven't read the GA statute (which was written primarily for the benefit of shopkeepers to detain shoplifters, not sua sponte posses) or do not understand how to apply it..
