I wrote a *600-page* NYT bestseller about this.

The scandal *has been* broken open.

PS/ Sorry for the frustration, it's just... look, the media can ignore any book it likes, it just can't pretend, on the back end, it discovered the Holy Grail. PROOF OF CONSPIRACY exists—those who write on Trump/the Middle East knows it exists—and if they ignored it it's on them.
PS2/ I'd ask @Will_Bunch to read and review PROOF OF CONSPIRACY if he has the level of interest in this subject that he describes (which, to be clear, I don't doubt that he does). I said in September 2019 that PROOF OF CONSPIRACY would remain fresh for a *long* time, and it has.

Whoever gets it gets a Pulitzer.
PS/ The first comprehensive narrative of that event to be published in the United States will be published in PROOF OF CORRUPTION. But I fully expect that reporting on this issue will continue until the incontrovertable truth is revealed. It's already clear the truth will be bad.
PS2/ Many don't realize that Trump wouldn't have gone to a military hospital for any of the common bases he might have had for an emergency visit to a hospital.

For an acute issue, he'd have gone to George Washington. For a non-acute issue, he would've used his White House team.

(NOTE) This is comprehensively addressed in my forthcoming book PROOF OF CORRUPTION, and people will be shocked by what the major-media evidence suggests: Trump wasn't undergoing a physical, but was experiencing a scare related to the emerging virus in China. Yes—in November '19.
PS/ The book constructs a comprehensive timeline using only major-media investigative reports. The confluence of facts, dates, and communications established by major media around the world first confirms that this wasn't a physical, then points *strongly* to a "new virus" scare.
PS2/ The implications of this major-media reporting are staggering, including that the WH was aware of the virus in November and began ignoring grave warnings about China's virus-related perfidy for reasons—also comprehensively explored in the book—unrelated to national security.

"Extraordinary" doesn't cover it. A federal district court judge asking for briefs on an issue shouldn't be subject to appeal—given that Flynn isn't incarcerated and is post-plea, meaning DOJ prosecutors no longer hold his fate in their hands—let alone result in a move like this.
NYT: "'Everything about this case is unusual,' said David Sklansky, a Stanford professor of criminal law. 'It's unusual to ask a higher court to direct a lower court to do something before the lower court has had a chance to make up its own mind in the first instance.'"

*Yep*.
PS/ It's not even clear what's being appealed, as no decision has been rendered. Flynn, who's not incarcerated, is complaining of—what—a *delay* in his case? He's post-plea... so on what basis, precisely, is a several-week delay in sentencing violating his constitutional rights?
