While Trump is hate tweeting his enemies, Midland, Michigan (which votes overwhelmingly Republican) is being evacuated due to three broken dams.

The green circular structure in the middle here is the farmer's market.
This is the parking lot of the office building I used to work at. (We've since moved our office north 2 miles)
This photo was taken in the back of a retirement home about half a mile from Dow Chemical company.
These photos were taken by the Midland Daily News, which is located in the building in this photo.
This is all Trump country.

I'm not sure they've seen his twitter feed tonight.

As Trump demands churches open "right now" ...

THREE HOURS AGO, the CDC put this study on its website:
At an AK church service there were:

- 92 attendees.
- 35% of them contracted #COVID19
- 3 attendees died.

Another death and 26 more infections were linked to that service.
And the CDC guidance (published three hours before Trump said he would MAKE local leaders open church) says:

Someone count the number of minutes before this is removed from the site.

Obviously, there are ethical issues with diagnosing someone you've never met. I'm totally fine with that because I haven't been a social worker for 20 years.
But my word. This woman.

She says her father was extremely abusive, but no one else remembers him that way.

She says she was accepted to Julliard, but has no proof of it.

She says she graduated from college, but the college says she didn't and she can't prove otherwise.

Where leaders are voted in by citizens, the press has a solemn duty to report the truth about those leaders.

If a leader's dereliction of duty results in the deaths of more than 50,000 citizens, and the "press" intentionally ignores it, that "press" should be held accountable.
Fox is the main source of news for nearly half of America.

Fox hosts are purposely misinforming their viewers about the malice, incompetence, and unfitness of the president. Viewers will vote for the president based on that bad information, possibly leading to much MORE death.
When I reflect on who is most to blame for the catastrophic deaths and ruined economy, I always come back to the faces of Fox.

People expect them to be guards on the watchtower. Instead, they watch the burglars rob the people and then deny it ever happened.
