The warm days have come. The Plague is still growing among us. Grannie refuses to die for Trump. The economy is not magically reopening. More businesses are starting to wobble. Our solution is to print more money. Trump Maga folks await their stimulus.
The state governors seem more attuned to the realities of the problem and local solutions but Trump is going to war with left wing governors even though they are not politicizing a medical emergency. I wonder what the logic is behind that? nymag.com/intelligencer/…
The economy was predicted to shrink from overheated activity before Coronavirus. It's a global problem that has created national and regional divisions and fears. Why?pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2020…
Trump needs a healthy economy to be relected but it is very clear that is not going to happen. He has become the most socialist President in history. We are at 20% unemployment national debt at $25 trillion. independent.co.uk/news/world/ame…
The New Deal was debt used to create jobs, build infrastructure, even employ artists. Why are we not replicating a job friendly approach instead of debt. The old economy is not coming back. My rock star, warlords to gardener friends agree: Let's innovate. treasurydirect.gov/kids/history/h…
Simplistic view of the New Deal which included "relief, recovery and reform" which created many of the institutions and problems we have today. But like Alexander and the Gordian Knot this is a good time to rethink many government approaches.
We are now learning that JIT, globalized structures are the black swans that crashed local needs and businesses. We are realizing the impact of globalized thinking and local relationships. Hopefully money, resources and suppliers will stay closer to home. moderndiplomacy.eu/2020/04/22/imp…
Humans are surprisingly resistant to change unless it is forced upon them. Then millions will die before they go "Oh I probably should rethink things" I am just sayin now is good time to rethink things. Like start thinking. ancient.eu/article/1543/e…
We found the solution to global warming (no jets or dirty foreign industry) We realized we need local suppliers to eat and we learned that our national government doesn't do a very job (self preservation) but our local government is more honest and responsive. #lessonsLearned.
We learned that the people who make the least money, are the most "essential". Toilet paper is a rare commodity, old people and friends should never be taken for granted and a desire to rebuild local businesses with my patronage. And I discovered that Trump is Mexican.
America is not out of the valley of death and the virus is just beginning in the developing world. Jared Kushner may think we are "rockin it" but I urge people to listen to doctors that actually know what they are talking about. #NoGhostDancingAllowed. cnbc.com/2020/05/20/new…
