Night after night we try to discuss and air the most serious of issues. The care crisis, testing, contact tracing, excess deaths and the rest. Night after night, the government chooses not to appear to make account of itself and talk to our viewers.
There have been roughly 1700 minutes of Newsnight in the last two months. Apparently not a single one of the scores and scores UK govt ministers were available for five or six of those 1700 minutes to talk to our hundreds of thousands of (up to a million) viewers.
