TOP SECRET
A secret meeting is happening now
Called the Isle of Dogs & South Poplar Area Board
But the agenda, membership, papers etc are kept secret
If you search for the term you won't find anything or else link is to access denied page
So how do I know it is happening now?

Somebody accidentally put a calendar reminder on the Council website (but later removed it)
I know the meetings happen quarterly but that is all I know, rest is confidential although clearly affects my area
How do I know that?

Well the GLA Isle of Dogs & South Poplar Opportunity Area Planning Framework said the Council had set up an IoD & S Poplar Area Board, only public reference
GLA recommended "ongoing community engagement" & setting up a Community Development Panel involving residents

issues relating to planning and development
in the Isle of Dogs and to allow for improved
feedback on future planning."
Result?

We get secrecy. Recommendations from the GLA for greater community involvement go back to the 1st draft of the OAPF May 2018, which also recommended a delivery team be set up in 2018
But what we got locally is nothing not even the infrastructure recommended by the GLA
