We're going live in just 15 minutes with our showcase of dozens of incredible and ground-breaking games created at the @NYUGameCenter! Tune in between now and 8 PM ET!
Whoa I just finished stage-managing the first hour of this show, with 16 different guests... one amazing game after another, and great banter too? Now @MituK and @auriea are talking with another half-dozen game teams, check it out. twitch.tv/nyugamecenter
Now @zimmermaneric and @selmaleh are watching some intensely creepy trailers with Yume Nikki vibes!

We're made it to the 2nd half of our marathon stream and are now showing grad-level projects! @madparker and @cosmoddd chat with the creators of this archery+grappling immersive sim (strong Dishonored influence -- they were advised by one of the designers) twitch.tv/nyugamecenter
It's really eerie, we have a half-dozen projects at the @NYUGameCenter this year that were started before the pandemic hit, but now feel like they're all about experiences of isolation / social-distance? Like the amazing, cozily-detailed "Hotpot for One"
Now we're up to @clarafv and @hentaiphd looking at some of the most provocative work from our program; games about longing for touch, about AI futures, and... recent quarantines! And don't miss this mystery project coming up soon:
I hope you got to see The Fascination! @clarafv and @omarieclaire are wrapping up this hour with a look at an amazing lockpick controller
Bringing it home in the last our of our streaming showcase, @charlesjpratt and @108 (and his dog) are starting off by commentating on multiplayer team matchups like The Bog. Tune in, we're almost to the finish line! twitch.tv/nyugamecenter
OMG and now we've been joined by surprise guest Rebekah Saltsman of @FinjiCo to look at our last two games, starting with a tale of dirty laundry, stealing clothes to do fashion dressup, and influencer aspirations
This showcase has gone completely sideways now in Game Center fashion as we try to break our Zoom -> OBS -> Twitch pipeline by streaming everybody at once
I can't believe we pulled this all off, six hours of streaming over 100 people and 40 games, not a professional streamer among us, and we created a whole weird stage-management process to do it. OBS only crashed twice. WOW, thank you all
We somehow designed this process and setup this Tuesday, by piling all the preofessors in the department into Zoom and doing experiments with OBS. The setup of the OBS layout was all @radiatoryang genius though, with visual design by our student showcase committee
*professors and also administrators, ofc! Best university department ever
Plus oh my god, custom tools like this that pulled in all the data about games, ran our trivia quiz and let anyone send messages of support to our ticker
