One of the first things I learnt on Twitter was that many climate scientists have been saying for years that we're sure to go over 2C.
In 2019 I realised a number of climate scientists think it likely we'll go over 3C, even 4C.
This study confirms 1.9C or less is too much.

In any case, though a very good article, the headline is misleading because of this assumption that we should all consider 1.6 - 1.8C as achievable, when really we should see it as extremely unlikely.
