Nope. Taliban wd hv declared jihad ag India regardless of India putting boots on ground or not. Time and again Indian analysts, even if with best intentions, spectacularly misread the jihadi mindset and strategic thinking.
Indian boots wd serve no purpose in erasing Taliban unless the boots wr ordered to systematically destroy the warlord/mullah Islamic structure in AFPAK. But Indian boots wdnt be ordered to do anything that hurts the Indian subcontinents transnational Islamist infrastructure.
For Taliban, there r many strategic needs to give a jihad slogan ag India: most of Syria-Iraq's ISIS scum been shipped safely to AFG& younger Talibs hv been languishing from lack of women (and boys) and kafer bodies to torture. India provides a picture perfect rallying poster.
Jihadis r tactically brave: they like easy pickings, they flee if they see their own medicine might be used ag them. Thats why they wdnt be keen to go back to Russo-Assad frontier. Eastwards a good idea, as Indians r unlikely to apply same methods as Assad or Russians on jijadis
Further the lower ranks of Talebs in AFG will lean more to ISIS with its more "Arabic" slave market fantasies than the aging Talib ldrship in Gulf or Pak safehouses (some in Iran possibly too) wd like them to be. Again India will be a good target to hold to young scum.
In jihadi land, there can be no science and education, hence no tech or industry except those looted or bought from hated non-Muslims: economy is agriculture, slave-trade, narco-trafficking. What will hatchery products do? they need to be employed in classic jihadi pastimes.
For Taliban, its a strategic and tactical necessity to declare jihad ag India. Whether they pretend to do it or deny it, they will do it anyway. Indian boots or not.
