From another field: the bitterness of this dispute was truly dispiriting, but not atypical of the professional behavior in which scholars were trained. That seems to have changed. David Abraham has continued to produce extremely interesting work.

colleague? Whatever, as a fairly isolated recognition, late in the day, it seems to merit mention. 3/
