Certainly weight loss ALSO improves both, but carb restriction is an independent mechanism.

This has been demonstrated quite beautifully for fatty liver & metS, calorie controlled.

If I were an evidenced based zealot and had no clinical experience outside of what I read on PubMed, I might be as naive
Actually let me rephrase, because there is sufficient evidence in the literature... so basically their stance is just zealotry, it’s actually NOT evidence based
