Showing direct ownership of your own distribution is becoming a more important part of valuation discussions. Harder to deplatform or distort.
Do they offer you enough distribution to be worth the distortion? Their incentives are not aligned with yours, after all.
Better to go direct by default, with occasional exceptions.
