TFP says he hopes to start intl flights by mid-June if “virus behaves in a predictable manner.” Arre Bhai, this is what the world is waiting for. Here we don’t even know whether planes will fly locally, and we have TFP thinking globally. Wizardry ka next level!
TFP is anxious to let planes fly because he is concerned about air travellers as they are also taxpayers. I know others, incl one famous Mohan, have peddled this falsehood before, but TFP saying it means so much.
Get this right, TFP and all else: EVERYBODY in this country pays taxes, even the indigent, PAY taxes. It is just that TFP’s notion of a taxpayer is unhinged from reality because of extreme bias. Take a tax primer, including all those famous accounting wizards, who push this lie.
Here comes the best part: TFP says he needed at least 2 days notice before imposition of lockdown. But WTH does he mean by telling US that? He could have told NaMo that obvious thing 2 months ago. Maybe he couldn’t because of his place in the pecking order in the NaMo regime.
The icing on the cake: “Nothing is written in stone.” Well, if a minister says that, you know what it means: “Anything can happen and I know just as much as you do.” Moral of story: Flying in India is a philosophical question when you have a Flying Puri at the helm.
