#Breaking the #ProblemSolvers have obtained new @CDPHE guidelines for restaurants opening dine-in services across Colorado. @KDVR ImageImageImage
Restaurants can have 50% of the posted occupancy code limit, and a maximum of 50 patrons. Parties have to be 8 people or fewer and must be 6 feet apart. @KDVR
Restaurants encouraged to continue curbside pickup/delivery and work with local authorities to get expanded space for outdoor dining. @KDVR
This paragraph at the bottom of the first slide is significant: "Other kinds of establishments that do not serve food will be evaluated in June." @KDVR Image
No self-serve stations or buffets. No sitting at the bar. No more games or dance floors. Everything will move to single-use items like napkins, menus, etc. @KDVR
And if there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 among customers or employees, the restaurant MUST notify and work with the local public health department. Full story: kdvr.com/news/coronavir…

A spokesperson for @bouldercohealth issued the following statement calling these gatherings “unacceptable and frankly unlawful.” So far the county health department hasn’t issued any warnings or fines to @CUBoulder. Image
So far @CUBoulder has found 16 positive #COVID19 cases through its medical services. This doesn’t include outside testing. They’re working on wastewater testing to be able to detect any community spread. @KDVR

THREAD: Recently got these numbers from our #ProblemSolvers CORA request.

Since 2018, @DenverPolice has spent roughly $584,000 on less-than-lethal munitions. In 2020, the department spent more than 2X on these items than the previous two years combined. @KDVR Image
2/ According to Denver administrators, @DenverPolice doesn't budget for these items. DPD purchases them as needed, and the cost is absorbed in the budget as an expense. @KDVR
3/ As much as these expenses look large, as I previously reported, @DenverPolice spent more than $2.6 million in overtime covering the first few weeks of unrest through the #GeorgeFloyd protests downtown. @KDVR
