@bradhoylman I support a rule change that would let you vote from the home district. The more that elected officials are stuck at home with Zoom/Skyp, the more they can get what New Yorkers are going through the last few months. It can help shape policy.
@bradhoylman Over the last few months, Cuomo gave pressers in Albany, Rochester, Lond Island and NYC, and he flew to DC too. Had he been stuck in a house for 10-14 days and done work via Skype/Zoom - and maybe have 2 staffers go over - he would feel in his bones what NYers are feeling.
@bradhoylman This is not to say that politicians don’t care or that they are malicious about all this. But the saying of “never judge a person until you walked in their shoes” is fitting here.
