Anyway, people like @JasonWardNY and @mollycule__ (founder of Feminist Bird Club) have been working do diversify the bird space and get whole newer, younger cohorts of people into urban bird watching. Which in turn gets more advocates of sharing/caring for public spaces.
And hats off to @annaholmes who as EIC at @topicstories got this series off the ground. As the daughter of a Black NPS ranger, she is so passionate about making sure Black people can enjoy our parks and wild spaces.
