Whenever China has an internal crisis, it turns its attention to a convenient target, India.

China did the same in 1962, it is repeating it now.

The widely-believed narrative is that Nehru's Forward Policy led to the war.

China was undergoing a great internal crisis from 1958-62 because of the failed policies of Mao Zedong "The Great Leap Forward" and the "Four Pests Campaign".

It led to famine and nearly 4.5 crore people died out of starvation, and people ate other people out of hunger. (3/8)
India under the leadership of Nehru was perceived to be the leader of the third-world.

China aspired to be the leader of the third-world was annoyed, wanted to humiliate India.

The greatest famine the world ever saw was threatening Mao's position. He used India to divert(4/8)
Mao wanted to beat USSR. He devised a grand plan called "The Great Leap Forward" to increase the production of steel and other goods.

He also launched "Four Pests Campaign" to kill rats, flies, mosquitoes and sparrows to get rid of diseases and boost food production (5/8)
Sparrows died and pests ate all the food. This man-made tragedy killed 4.5 crore people in the villages by 1961-62.

People were eating barks of trees, mud and even other people. People ate people. Cannibalism was wide-spread. (6/8)
The greatest famine in the planet's history made Chinese people eat almost anything. They started eating wild animals from 1960s.

That way the Covid-19 crisis can be attributed to Mao's stupid policies (7/8)
