There are many more stories like these since white people being killed by police are the majority of people killed by police every year. A national conversation on this data, & ways to improve it for all, could be productive. But that’s too nuanced & useful for social media.
You can add your own stories below. There are tons of them that don’t get social media attention & go viral at all. Important to note in the Dallas story the police officers had charges dropped and not only that, they kept their jobs.
Most police do a great job under very trying circumstances every single day. A small minority do not. When they break the law, they should be charged. I think media makes relationships between police & those they try to serve & protect worse by almost exclusively focusing on race
