I knew Johnson’s record would be appalling..but I thought we’d “stumble through to Summer” and somehow things would calm down.
But with lockdown dissolving & govt incompetent beyond precedent I’ve a really bad feeling about autumn now.
I want to be measured not alarmist on COVID but it does look like UK lockdown “fizzling” out at a much earlier rate than other EU countries who were ahead of UK on curve.
Given this it’s not a surprise UK curve not flattening rapidly enough - yet schools re-opening...
Many Brits generally have a bit of an anti authority leaning & unlike some EU countries, pride fairness over more active socialist measures.
I can’t help feeling that these 2 otherwise useful attributes combined with Cummings excuse is now toxic for COVID strategy.
