In the last few days, Mr @Olayinkalere has been spreading one news about @ekitistategov selling the Ekiti House at Asokoro Abuja.

As usual, the news has been spreading like fire & my Egbon @leespanyol just put it on his TL.

First, it is nothing but Fake news.

Note: I don't work with the state govt so I expect them to issue official statement in due course.

However, Egbon Lere is known for fake news and most of our people can easily buy this news.

The onus is on people like us to find out the truth and set the record straight.

So let us look at the House in question. The Ekiti House that Lere is claiming to have been sold was bought by Segun Oni's administration. The house was renovated to suit the taste of the then govt.

After Oni left office, Fayemi used the house in 1st term for 4years.

When Fayose became Governor in 2014, he abandoned the house for good 4years.

What did he do?

Fayose said he can't spend 60million naira to renovate the house. So, he spent 80million to rent a house for 4years at Asokoro abandoning the official Governor's lodge.

Lere won't tell his gullible audience this hidden truth.

When the new administration came on board, the official house is not befitting again. Those who know the lodge will tell u that there is need for total rebuilding.

What the govt is doing is to rebuild the house so that Ekiti state won't be spending 80million on rent.

The house is under construction as we speak at Asokoro and those that which to verify can go there.

Mr Lere, we will be here to punch your fake news anytime anyday.

It won't fly. We won't let u deceive our people like before again.

So bring it on.
