Yep. Saw a shop assistant cough into her gloved hand, then pick up an item, clearly unconscious of what she had done..

47k people in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut tested positive for CV19 in the last two weeks. Their combined population is under 33 million.

2,800 people were admitted to NY and New Jersey hospitals alone. Down a lot. But still A LOT.
Part of it is that people symptomatic two or three weeks ago are now getting worse.

4/5 were retired or unemployed, shielding and with an underlying health condition.

The sick who have not been admitted are harder to trace.
