An ambulance was sent from Abuja to fetch him from Lokoja, and he was taken straight to the National Hospital, Abuja.
It was here that healthcare workers noticed some COVID-19 symptoms, so they decided to take his samples for testing.
The result was positive.

PS: I could not confirm if this man is one of the two Kogi COVID-19 patients announced by the NCDC last night, but I do know there is now scientific proof of COVID-19 in Kogi and I’m hoping the people of that state will start to take preventive measures seriously.
