Today as we celebrate #BiafraHeroesDay2020, we give honour to whom honour is due.

We say thank you & God bless you to all individuals and groups who contributed in one way or another in making 30th May of every year the date for #BiafraRemembranceDay.

@MaziNnamdiKanu & #IPOB popularised & energized #BiafraHeroesDay.

The organisation that first proposed #BiafraHeroesDay from the earliest available references I could find is a group known as the BIAFRA FOUNDATION based in the USA in the year 2002.

It must be admitted that Chief Ralph Uwazurike had already started the Movement For The Actualisation Of Biafra (MASSOB) in 1999 in Ijesha, Lagos.

The first available record of #BiafraHeroesDay event held in Nigeria was organised by Chief Ralph Uwazurike led MASSOB in 2004.

So many people have suffered bodily harm & incanceration in the hands of the evil Nigeria system for daring to remember the labours of our Biafran mothers & fathers.

Above all, an uncountable & unaccountable number have paid with their blood and lives for daring to honor the supreme sacrifices of our heroes past.

Their lives they laid down are not in vain. We cannot give them back their lives but we shall continue to hold their collective memories very dear in our hearts.

Their supreme sacrifices will continue to spur us as we make our own sacrifices to ensure that one day in the not too distant future, the Sovereign State of #Biafra shall become a reality.
