MY LOVE FOR IGBO PEOPLE

I once worked in the bank over a decade ago(2007) as a teller. I have wanted to do business all along but never knew how to get started as at that time.

As a teller, I would see young Igbo businessmen come make huge deposit from sales everyday.

Thread.
You know what?

Most would dress and never looked like they had 100k but these are guys who do volume of tens of millions every week.

Out of the bank, you would see them drive good cars, live in good houses. They look simple but wife and kids are on lavida loca. 😁😁
I just kept wondering then. What kind of people are these? There is one guy who owned an electrical shop then. He built from one shop to about 3 branches and built a 2-storey building to house one of them.
Their focus & tenacity is second to none. You see an Igbo man face a huge challenge in business unperturbed and they bounce back. A furniture showroom that houses severally furniture guys in Yenagoa got burnt sometimes back. These guys are back again doing business.
It was also easy for me when I wanted to start entrepreneurship in 2013. I looked for mentor and found myself an Igbo man as well who can ice to Eskimos @ronaldnzimora

🤣🤣🤣
I was once told of one who imports just handkerchief.

I learnt from them by observation. Focus. You stay on your lane and focus on it. You live below your means and expand your business steadily.
I do not even look like the volume of business we do. I have seen lots of people doubt I am Ijaw. They assume I am Igbo. I actually do not mind. 😁😁
3 weeka ago, another good Igbo friend of mine in the pharmacy business introduced me to another Igbo businessman who sells poultry feed. He visited one of our @TonyveFarms facility and told the operations manager that your oga is an Igbo man. I laughed it off when I was told.
I have met several awesome Igbo people especially so dear to me who is from Mbaise. You know this talk of when you see an Mbaise person and a snake, kill the Mbaise person first? That is not my experience. I am definitely getting married to a beautiful Igbo woman from Mbaise. 😋
What is remaining is to learn and perfect my Igbo, get a chieftaincy there and live the life 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The end of my boring thread.
