1. As I read the news today I noticed that mayors from most larger cities in the countries went public asking for protesters to go home. Many appealed to their common sense concerning looting and destruction of public property.

2. Small businesses that were run by African Americans. One example was Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms from Atlanta.

4. In places like Nashville, protesters were met not only with police with full riot gear but also arrests:

5. Something doesn't feel right on all this. I've followed the protests until about 10PM last night and there were people on ground reporting no confusion.
6. There were also disturbing pictures like those of Austin, TX, where all, 100%, of the people blocking public highways or looting, were white.
7. antifa was quiet and one of the "dangerous antifa terrorists" was actually an undercover cop, properly identified as such (they did a real bad job).
8. This here is what worries me: white supremacists using the opportunity for their absurd "second civil war" and "race war".

9. As a white woman with a long history in activism under a dictatorship, I follow two things: one, protagonism in these riots is the prerrogative of African American leaders. White folks should just listen and do what they are told.
10. Second, in all my years of anti-fascist activism (I lived under a dictatorship in Brazil until I was 22 yrs old), one thing I've learned is that there is always backlash and there is always infiltration.
11. Unfortunately, the other constant is: there is always misrepresentation by the media. Read what @Blklivesmatter report.
12. Yesterday I was truly concerned. The USA has fascist occupants of executive power. It is not "yet" a fascist country but it's no longer a democracy stricto sensu. The fascist-in-chief has been inciting violence for a long time.
13. White supremacists have never felt so empowered.

The anti-racist / anti-fascist side cannot afford to be divided now.
