1. Why are many violent in an undisciplined fashion?
2. Are the police poorly trained? (They are very well equipped.)
3. Are they too sure they can't be disciplined?
4. Are the police influenced by extremist media, such as FoxNews?
5. Are there political organizations influencing them? If so, which organizations?
6. Is this police behavior just another sign of Steve Bannon's "deconstruction of the administrative state"?
7. Why did the police target journalists with rubber bullets?

Was June 3, 2020, the day when Donald Trump lost command over the federal troops? Defense Secretary Esper’s press conference at the Pentagon’s makes it look like that.
Clearly Trump is now scrambling for loyal troops as is usually the case in a pre-coup situation. Who are the loyal commanders with loyal troops? The revelation that the White House is protected by Texas prison guards because they can be commanded by Barr suggest low down the line
Another indication is that troops of some 15 kinds have been gathered, but the most prestigious are being held back by the president in apparent fear that they will choose the constitution over him.

We always complain about all US presidents, but by and large they have been outstanding. It is only when the US has a truly dysfunctional president that one sees how dependent the whole system is on one single person. This is unsound & should be changed & modernized.
We should be grateful to Trump for having shown that the US does not have a functioning system of checks & balances. Just as in France, it is only the street that can stop occasional madness.
Trump has also shown us how obsolete or perverted the US constitution has become. This country is in serious need of a modern & viable constitution, clarifying the division of powers, giving all the right to vote & prohibiting semi-automatic guns, etc. etc.
