At least we shouldn't have to put up with any more prattle from the Left about "respecting the results of elections" or the "peaceful transfer of power." They believe in neither. When they lose, they immediately begin using coercive force against those who voted against them.
This is deeply ingrained into left-wing ideology. They think every election they lose was "stolen" somehow, and anything they do to undermine and sabotage the winning side or punish its voters is justified. Want the pain to stop? Give them their power back.
When Republicans lose elections, their consultant class goes overboard in declaring the candidates' ideas have been rejected forever, and they need to begin adopting bits of the Dem platform to stand a chance of winning voters back. They write autopsies.
When Democrats lose, they write screeds about how the VOTERS are wrong and need to be punished or reprogrammed. They use lavishly-funded groups to cause chaos and attack every weak point in the system. They write battle plans.
The Left long ago embraced the view of democracy famously expressed by Turkish President Erdogan: It's a train you ride until you reach your destination, then you get off. It's a view deeply ingrained in every segment of left-wing ideology, including the so-called "moderates."
You little people, you deplorables, you can have your precious little democratic freedoms... provided you vote the right way on the important issues. If you don't, you get economic sabotage, corrupt media reporting, and riots.
And you'll be blamed for all of it, the same way a stick-up man blames the victim for "forcing" him to pull the trigger. Never think any of this is spontaneous or uncoordinated. The plans are made years in advance and implementation begins the day after Election Day. /end
