Hi, @ScottWalker,

It sure took a lot of guts to hide in a bunker until the police tear-gassed and removed peaceful protesters, clearing the way for a staged photo op.

Such courage! What a strong man!

[I typed that in the sarcasm font]

See the next Tweet for real courage.
Here you can see our next president, Biden, talking to protesters.

Biden isn't scared! He didn't need someone to tear-gas civilians to get them out of the way.

See this, @realDonaldTrump ?

This is real courage.

I've now see two overlapping reasons Trump did this "photo op."

Trump wanted to show "strength" after being mocked for hiding in a bunker. businessinsider.com/trump-church-p…

People were "desperate" for Trump to be seen because they saw his base turning against him. From @axios ⤵️
Trump is a dangerous, cornered man because he's failing.

His brand is built on "winning." He's losing.

He doesn't understand how 3 years of hate and divisiveness brought us here, so he doesn't know what to do. He's flailing.

He's a pony with a few tricks. None are working.
I think he knows he can't ⤵️

He needs adoration.

Correction: He needs people to pretend to adore him.

He sees those crowds hating him and he knows nothing will make them pretend to love him.

That's why he's flailing.

I know we're all terrified about what Trump might do before @JoeBiden is sworn in.

Trump is dangerous because he's cornered and losing.

Oddly enough, this is the problem we want.

The alternative is Trump (and everyone else) knows his reelection is inevitable.
