How to send cold email follow ups 📩

50% or more of your meetings will come from follow ups.

So how do you write them without being annoying?

THREAD
Your first email should follow the outline I detail in this thread:

You should send follow ups until they say no.

I normally write between 3-7 follow ups.

Here's my all time favorites...
Follow up #1 - The Bump.

"Hey {{first name}}, know you're busy, just bumping this up!"

This works surprisingly well.

I send it 2-3 days after the first message.

I send the next follow up 4-5 days after that.
Follow up #2 - The Big Win

"Hey {{first}}. Wanted to follow up because we just had another big win with a client.

[details about win]"

Great thing about this is you can just keep making follow ups about different case studies.

Got 4 case studies?

That's 4 follow ups.
Follow up #3 - Two Ideas

"Hey {{first}}. Thought I'd reach out again with two ideas on how you can [achieve desired result]."

Give real, actionable advice.

The trick is to give them sufficient detail to boggle their minds. You need to spark interest.
Combine your big wins and ideas into making follow up sequences 4-7 emails long.

If you got value please like/RT the 1st tweet 🙌
