A federal district judge in Texas has issued an injunction that allows wide use of mail-in ballots in the upcoming primary elections.
Best line: "'We the People' get just about the government and political leaders we deserve, but deserve to have a safe and unfettered vote to say what we get."
Best ruling: Extending the injunction to the Republican primary, as well as the Democratic primary, because
"Though Republican voters are not parties to this case, the Court finds it would discriminate against Republicans not to afford them the same health safety precautions of voting by mail."

Tonight, the NYT has an op-ed by a fascist, Sen. Tom Cotton. He proposes using military force against protesters. In response, I posted the following:

In June, 1941, the NYT published excerpts from Mein Kampf under the title "The Art of Propaganda."
It was meant, I think, to be a warning as to how Hitler's propaganda works.

I am aging. I remember Watergate. I knew when it was over for Nixon. It was when George Will, whom I don't particularly like, said that in order to believe Nixon's story, one had to be able to believe six impossible things before breakfast.
Today, the sheer number of pundits is greater than back in Watergate days. So no single writer can carry the weight that, say, Will did back then. Almost all of the mainline conservatives (Stephens, Brooks, Rubin, Kristol, the others at the Bulwark), have long since turned
against Trump.
