I am aging. I remember Watergate. I knew when it was over for Nixon. It was when George Will, whom I don't particularly like, said that in order to believe Nixon's story, one had to be able to believe six impossible things before breakfast.
Today, the sheer number of pundits is greater than back in Watergate days. So no single writer can carry the weight that, say, Will did back then. Almost all of the mainline conservatives (Stephens, Brooks, Rubin, Kristol, the others at the Bulwark), have long since turned
against Trump.

However, don't just read it. Watch closely the tape of Trump at the church today. Look at his affect. His body language. He is a beaten man and he knows it. More bad news is yet to come, not the least of which is the public disclosure of his tax returns.
And, economically, the country faces tough times, not the least of which are costume-jewelry hotels and condos. In a little over five months, our long national nightmare will be over.
