I hear them in there talking as they play Fortnight, saying “I can’t believe he did that to us?! I thought we were cool.”

If people were severely depressed before, they will be now. We’ve been told to lock ourselves in our homes for months. People have been out of work, the economy decimated. Now, the same people that shamed us for wanting to go back to work love mobs in the street.
So many downtown businesses that were hoping for just partial openings are now not only shut down again, but having their places looted and burned down. And the adults in the room are not only telling them it’s ok, they’re shaming you for being mad about it.
And then in the fall, they’ll gleefully say “How do you like Trump’s economy now?!”

My elderly father had a seizure last weekend, fell and broke 3 ribs and punctured a lung. Hospitalized for a few days, he’s home recovering fine so far. My mom could not go to the hospital with him. She couldn’t visit him. Rules must be followed because Corona says so, right?
I know this is minor compared to what others experienced. We’ve heard all about it people dying alone, can’t attend funerals, etc... I couldn’t visit my dad in the hospital. It sucked. So the sudden 180 on this is infuriating.
Literally within days the entire Covid Mafia turned on a dime and cheered on thousands of people massed up together. Remember how selfish people were for taking their kids to the park? God help us if this crowd retains power.
