Media bias is one of those issues that drives people crazy. You see it with own eyes every day, while those guilty of it deny it happens. Like walking in on your spouse in the arms of another and they tell you nothing's going on, don't be hysterical.
This is not new to the Trump era, but with the advancement of social media, is more noticeable than ever. Well-known journalists use their Twitter accounts as flame-throwers, never bothering to make sure what they post is remotely accurate. Spoiler alert: they don't care.
Getting exposure, viral tweets, name recognition, and advancing the progressive ball is all that matters. When something they tweet turns out to be wrong, they aren't embarrassed. They don't face backlash from their peers or employers. If they got clicks, all is well.

It's full of reciprocal virtual high-fives between our betters. Much of what they link, retweet, or post is sick burns on conservatives or Trump-bashing. Is it accidental almost everything they churn out is 99% favorable to the Democrat party?
And then the true elites on TV. We watched for years as every story about Bush was negative, he was the first Literally Hitler. They'd go out of their way to find the negative in any story and make that the point.
Then we experienced The One. We watched the media drop the veil and actually worship a President. No matter the story, they found the ray of light. We began to see "Republicans pounce" play out constantly.
Magazine covers depicted him as a deity. He could do no wrong. If you opposed Obama, the media felt compelled to change your mind and make you "get it."
We are still told Obama was scandal-free. His economy never really improved, but it wasn't his fault. They covered for him for 8 long years and our resentment grew daily. Then comes Trump. They laughed along with him because he would ensure Hillary got the crown. Oops.
You don't have to like or fully-endorse Trump to see the media has gone insane. And to get on the bandwagon, many from the right want to set themselves up post-Trump as "one of the good ones."
What's the point? We don't believe your bullshit anymore. You are fake news. You are the enemy of the people because you intentionally mislead the public about important events and facts that impacts the way of life for all Americans.
