I fell asleep watching "Joker".
I watched "Joker" and easily understood why any given 13 year-old with existential depression would connect with it. Naively, I did not anticipate our country being full of adults whose worldview is about as nuanced as a 13 year-old with existential depression.
Being obsessed with anti-heros doesn't make you deep or interesting or particularly thoughtful. We would all love to fuck off and do our own thing. We don't because we care about those around us and we're not the center of our universe and dickish behavior is dickish.
And while we're at it, your nihilism is cowardly and childish and makes you look like a massive tool. Have the courage to stand for something and be vulnerable.
