Apropos of absolutely nothing at all, I want to pick out some highlights of Lindsey Graham's long history of attacking the rights and livelihoods of LGBTQ people.

He supported a constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage. Although many supported that amendment at the time and have come around on embracing marriage equality since then, Graham still believes marriage should be between one man and one woman. 
It wasn't a "go along to get along" kinda thing. He claimed "traditional marriage is now under attack".
He has never walked back these comments or said he was wrong, despite acknowledging that the SCOTUS marriage equality decision is "the law of the land".

In 2014, Latta, S.C. Police Chief Crystal Moore was fired for being openly gay, despite have an impeccable service record. Lindsey Graham didn't support her. Instead, he voted against the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, which would have protected her. slate.com/human-interest…
In 2013, Democrats sought to include LGBTQ protections in an immigration bill. Lindsey Graham, as part of the Gang of Eight, led GOP opposition to it, flatly stating that it would "kill the bill". Broader immigration rights were held hostage over his anti-LGBTQ hatred.
In 2000, 2007, and 2009, Lindsey Graham opposed anti-LGBTQ hate crimes legislation. He believed there wasn't a need for LGBTQ protections despite blatant violence motivated by anti-LGBTQ hatred. c-span.org/video/?c488001…

When "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" was repealed, it had huge bipartisan support in the Senate, garnering 65 votes in favor. But Graham? He managed to find a way to oppose it. Spoiler alert: DADT repeal did not make our military or nation weaker.
Lindsey Graham has always been entirely serious about his bigotry toward LGBTQ people, trivializing all consenting adults in the process. Here he is pushing against @piersmorgan's tough questioning by negatively comparing same-sex marriage to threesomes.
There's so much of this. It's the tip of the iceberg. Bottom line: Lindsey Graham, even where many of his GOP colleagues have evolved, refuses to honor LGBTQ people as full citizens in our country. His hatred toward LGBTQ people is disgusting.
